Moringa gives you a huge boost in Vitamins and Minerals.

This herbal remedy Moringa grows naturally in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan. It mostly likes tropical climates Every part of the plant the leaves, bark, flowers, fruit, seeds, root and even the bark are used to make medicine.
Since it grows easily is a superfood source for some parts of the world because it is grown cheaply and has so many vitamins and minerals.

How they are prepared:

The immature green pods (drumsticks) are prepared similarly to green beans, while the seeds are removed from more mature pods and cooked like peas or roasted like nuts. The leaves are cooked and used like spinach, and they are also dried and powdered for use as a condiment.

Benefits:

Moringa helps with skin because it contains hydrating and detoxifying elements, that boost the skin and hair.

Moringa is used for asthmadiabetesobesitysymptoms of menopause, and many other conditions, There is no real scientific proof or real studies to support these uses. In addition to medical health Moringa is used in foods, perfumes and hair care products.

Edema is an inflammatory condition where the body builds up fluids in the tissues. Moringa helps with the inflammation thus helping with edema.

Moringa also has been shown to protect against and reduce or stop cancer, because it contains niazimicin which reduces cancer. Leaf extracts slowed the growth of pancreatic cancer cells and helped chemotherapy work better.

The antibiotic and antibacterial properties of moringa will inhibit the growth of some pathogens making it very good for digestive issues, including bloating, constipation, gastritis, and ulcerative colitis.

The combination of anti-inflammatory and vitamins and minerals makes it very helpful for healing broken bones, strengthening bones and helping with arthritis.  These properties also can reduce fluids and swelling in the brain, helping with memory, stress, and improved thinking ability.

Much success has been seen with using Moringa for depression, anxiety, stress, and fatigue

Bronchial inflammation that can cause asthma and other breathing issues can be reduced with Moringa.  High toxicity levels in the kidneys can be reduced because of the elevated levels of antioxidants, this can also help reduce kidney stones.  Moringa reduces blood sugar, making it helpful for diabetes and amazingly helps build hemoglobin levels.   The high level of isothiocyanate and niaziminin compounds keeps arteries from thickening which is what causes higher blood pressure.  Moringa may stop the dilation of retinal vessels, prevent the thickening of capillary membranes, and inhibit retinal dysfunction for eye health. It is thought that its ability to help the body absorb minerals better will help the body produce more red blood cells preventing anemia and sickle cell disease.  As an antioxidant, it helps with cell growth and cell regeneration, wound repairs and healing It also has calciumprotein, iron, and amino acids, which help your body heal and build muscle.

Warning:

Since moringa may lower blood sugar and blood pressure, do not mix moringa with medications to treat diabetes or blood pressure.  Moringa is not recommended for any women that are considering becoming pregnant or that are currently pregnant because it has anti-fertility properties. The chemicals in Moringa could lead to miscarriages.

Special note:

Now you know why it is referred to as a “miracle tree,

Stinging Nettle For Allergies, Prostrate, Inflammation and More

Stinging Nettle

Easy to find in almost every state in the United States. It likes moist sunny spots.  They look like any other plant but they have hairy like nettles that secrete an acid chemical, formic acid that irritates the skin, causes itching, redness, and for me, it hurt for 14 to 40 minutes.  Felt like a bad bee sting and my hand actually went numb. Of course, I grab them with my bare hands, I don't suggest you do that. So yes the chemical is strong and long-lasting.

Stinging Nettle seems to be an aide in for these issues.

The Egyptians used Stinging Nettle for arthritis, and according to the Arthritis Foundation says many use Stinging  Nettle for Inflammation and Joint Pain relief.  It has also been shown to help improve osteoarthritis (OA) pain and ease gout. Anti-inflammation is a good cause for pain relief.

Stinging Nettle can be taken as a capsule, cream, oil, tea and more.

Stinging nettle is also good for allergies such as hayfever, and other sinus issues. The anti-inflammation helps with allergies but it also helps because it reduces histamine which is what the body produces exposed to pollen, dust, dander, and other allergy triggers. The histamine is what causes the red eyes, itching, hives, that goes along with allergies.

Now there are many herbs that helps with Inflammation and pain but none that I know of that helps with Allergies, Inflammation, and BPH.  BPH is benign prostatic hyperplasia a noncancerous growth on or in the prostate gland in men. BPH makes it hard for men to completely release urine from the bladder. Stinging Nettle may slow the growth or reduce the size of the growth in the gland, thus making it easier to urinate.
Several studies show Stinging Nettle helps with blood sugar, in other words, it has been effective in treating diabetes   After 3 months, the stinging nettle extract had a positive effect on blood glucose levels.
For one, it cleanses the body of toxins. It also improves the nutrient uptake efficiency of the gut stimulates red blood cell production, speeds up wound healing, boosts energy levels and relieves fatigue and anemia.

Stinging nettle helps with women’s issues too. It helps ease painful labor in pregnant women reduces bleeding during childbirth, stimulates the production of milk for breastfeeding soothes menstrual cramps, reduces blood flow during the red days, and helps in hormonal shifts in menopausal women.
Stinging nettle also breaks down stones found in the gallbladder and kidney protects against excess fluid retention, maintains calcium content in our bones, reduce allergic reactions, treat asthma, lower  blood pressure, and relieves tension in the cardiovascular system.
Dosages

The Arthritis Foundation suggests taking up to 1,300 mg of stinging nettle as a tea, capsule, tablet, tincture, or extract. Otherwise, people can take 1–4 mg per day as a tincture, or they can apply creams directly to the skin.

Sage - Power Herbal Remedy for Dental Abscesses, Blood Sugar and Alzheimer’s

SAGE
Tons of vitamins, Tons of Antioxidants. Sage packs 10% of your daily vitamin K needs. Sage also contains small amounts of magnesium, zinc, copper, vitamins A, C, and E. Sage has antimicrobial effects, which can neutralize microbes that promote dental plaque. E Sage Essential - oil was shown to kill and halt the spread of Candida albicans, a fungus that may also cause cavities.  One review noted that sage may treat throat infections, dental abscesses, infected gums, and mouth ulcers.  Sage can also be taken internally as a liquid, spray, lozenge, capsule, or tablet.  Applying a cream containing common sage (Salvia officinalis) and rhubarb (Rheum officinale and Rheum palmatum) to cold sores may be about as effective as acyclovir (Zovirax) cream.

Sage is used for digestive problems, including loss of appetite, gas (flatulence), stomach pain (gastritis), diarrhea, bloating, and heartburn. Sage is applied directly to the skin for cold sores; gum disease (gingivitis); sore mouth, throat or tongue; and swollen, painful nasal passages. Some people inhale sage for asthma.

Heard of the Hot Flashes?  A Description of the feeling women get during menopause, excessive sweating, irritability and you know the rest.  Sage has long been used to fight the effects of the "Hot Flashes".

Remedy against diabetes lowering Blood Sugar for both type 1 and type 2.   Another study in mice with type 2 diabetes found that sage tea acts like metformin — a drug prescribed to manage blood sugar in people with the same disease.  Taking common sage (Salvia officinalis) three times per day for 2 months seems to reduce “bad” low-density lipoprotein(LDLcholesterol and blood fats called triglycerides, and increase “good” high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol, in people with high cholesterol.

People who regularly use sage as a spice seem to have a 54% lower chance of developing lung cancer compared to those who don't use sage.

In one study, 39 participants with mild to moderate Alzheimer’s disease consumed either 60 drops (2 ml) of a sage extract supplement or a placebo daily for four months.  recent review of studies showed that species of sage could positively impact cognitive skills and protect against neurological disorders.  A 2005 study showed that common sage improved memory and cognition (thinking ability). In addition, increased dosages were related to improvements in mood, and feeling alert, calm, and content.  Taking extracts of two different sage species (Salvia officinalis and Salvia lavandulaefolia) for 4 months seems to improve learning, memory and information processing in people with mild to moderate Alzheimer's disease.

It has a long history of use in Egypt, Rome, and Greek medicine, as well as within Native American healing traditions. As far as burning sage is concerned, dried sage is burned as a possible way to heal, protect, increase wisdom, and boost defense against disease.  Burning sage, also known as smudging, involves literally burning the sage leaves and letting the smoke purify the air in your home.  Poor air quality may be linked to various health conditions. In this way, burning sage is seen as a cost-effective way to purify the air (to an extent). This is because sage is thought to have antimicrobial properties that help kill bacteria, viruses, and fungi. That being said, it's important to keep in mind that burning sage will create smoke, which can cause health problems for individuals who are prone to asthma and other respiratory conditions.

WARNING:
(NOT ALL SPECIES OF SAGE ARE THE SAME)

  • Taking sage during pregnancy is LIKELY UNSAFE because of the possibility of consuming thujone, a chemical found in some sage. Thujone can bring on a woman's menstrual period, and this could cause a miscarriage. Avoid sage if you are breast-feeding, too. There is some evidence that thujone might reduce the mother's milk supply.

  • Spanish sage (Salvia lavandulaefolia) might increase blood pressure in some people with high blood pressure, while common sage (Salvia officinalis) might lower blood pressure in people with blood pressure that is already low. Be sure to monitor your blood pressure.

  • One species of sage (Salvia officinalis) contains significant amounts of thujone, a chemical that can trigger seizures.

Used During the War for Infections and Diabetes

Bilberry

Its berries and leaves have been used for medicinal purposes since the Middle Ages for a variety of conditions, including diarrhea, scurvy, infections, burns, and diabetes. During World War II, British pilots ate bilberry jam, thinking it would improve their night vision.

Today, bilberry is used as a dietary supplement for cardiovascular conditions, diarrhea, urinary tract infections, eye problems, diabetes, and other conditions.

Bilberry is used by mouth to treat poor circulation that can cause the legs to swell. Some people take bilberry for diabeteshigh blood pressuregouturinary tract infections (UTIs), and many other conditions. But there is no good scientific research to support these other uses.

Bilberry is also sometimes used by mouth to treat eye conditions such as disorders of the retina, cataractsnearsightedness, and glaucoma. There is some evidence that bilberry may help retinal disorders, but there is no good scientific evidence that bilberry is effective for treating other eye conditions.
